ARTIST STATEMENT: Lisa Gay Harris

Lisa Gay Harris has explored the use of many mediums to make art throughout her life. Creating fine art using acrylic, oil, and watercolor paints, gouache, pastels, and inks. She’s focused on silversmithing, and tried wood carving, pottery, forensic sculpture, leather work, and fabric art to name a few.

Her works of art are expressions of compassion, inspiration, vision, and intuition, sourced from deep withing her essence. 

Often the completed masterpiece does not end the way it was intended or planned. In this way the art that is an extension of her hand, vision, and soul, makes itself.
